Detailed Changelog

 

For the upcoming update, I made a short changelog briefly describing all the changes.

However I feel it was too little information and want to provide much more detailed information, so listed below will be a better explaination of everything happening. Hope you all enjoy the changes!

ADDITIONS

 

Prototype Job is release, this is a magma job, he will not have his shields with him, nor will he be unkillable. However he will be extremely strong as he was previously 'shown off'. His shields are currently still needing to be fixed as they cannot break, therefore making him unkillable, which we don't need.

 

Pointshop betting, it's a script I was given by the creator, it involves a betting table with points instead of money? I haven't tried it out yet, but it seems fairly straight forward.

 

DJ Assassin, this is an obsidian job, he will be given the ability to do hits, as a normal hitman, however to his weapon aresonal he has nothing but dubstep guns, that play music. However the script is 'NOT' built for multiplayer so unfortunately only HE can hear it, consider it as if he's actually insane and the music is only inside his head.

 

Whitelist system, so currently on the server when a player joins the steam group, they become a 'voidmember' rank on ulx. However ulx is not built for having large amounts of members in their 'users.txt' file, therefore whenever someone joins the voidmember group or even when they log into the server, the server locks up for a few seconds. This whitelist system is here in hopes of countering this and removing any lag we get and hopefully making the server even more stable.

REMOVALS

 

Removed Spin n Win, it's actually extremely buggy, the script spams console with errors left and right, it spawns an invisible prop on the ground causing movement to be extremely glitchy and a large annoyance. So overall we're removing this due to these issues. Sure it's a great idea but the code is god awful.

 

Removed Black Jack, it has a massive exploit system where you can earn a large sum of money, this was realized fairly recently, and the only fix is quite poor. The overall script was fine, but this exploit made it something we cannot have on the server.

 

Removed the DJ system, awhile ago we had a DJ system that worked perfectly fine, but it broke and the creator of it was too busy to update it, so we had to migrate to another system. Which was ok however it had features we didn't want and overall was becoming a pain. Thankfully the older system, the creator finally updated it and we're migrating back!

FIXES/CHANGES/UPDATED

 

Every single weapon in the server has been buffed, such as:

M9K, Doom, CS:GO Knives, Lightsaber, Custom Job Weapons, and so on. No weapon was left out.

 

Power Armor is now the main focus of armor, each armor grants a LARGE bonus, plus you no longer lose your power armor on death, only when the timer runs out, I've provided a listed information regarding the power armor and their changes below.

 

Kevlar Armor is practically paper weight now, it has been nerfed heavily, it's no longer a focus on the server for armor, as our goal is to make the server seem more 'impactful' in combat, rather than the usual nonsense, I've provided a listed information regarding kelvar armor and their changes below.

 

Big Shaq is no longer the most unbalanced weapon in the game, it has been nerfed heavily and acts as a normal gun, but it is fairly strong.

 

Crafting Power Armor is now a breeze, the requirements are extremely low for all types.

 

Modern Weapons Dealer and Black Market Dealer both sell Tier 1 Power Armor, this Power Armor is somewhat trash (still better than kevlar), it doesn't give you insane stats like the Power Armors, but it's there for a good beginner and it costs only $5,000.
